Sauna World has three rooms. The Finnish sauna is the fiercest, 90 °C of dry heat; on the hour a sauna master pours water scented with birch or mint onto the stones and waves the heat round with a towel.
The herbal sauna is gentler, at 70 °C, with bundles of chamomile and lavender. The infrared room is for people who like the warmth without the heat.
Go in for eight to twelve minutes, then the cold plunge, then rest. Two or three rounds make an afternoon.
