Bathe safely

Lifeguards watch every pool. Hot water and saunas are hard work for the heart: keep to ten or fifteen minutes, cool down between, and skip the hot spring if you are pregnant or have a heart condition.

Before you come

  • Bring swimwear; towels and robes are included
  • Flip-flops are for sale at the desk
  • The thermal hall and café are step-free
  • Children under 14 come with an adult

Questions

Do I need to book?

No. A pass bought online skips the queue, which helps at weekends. Treatments need a time.

What should I bring?

Swimwear. Towels, a robe and a locker come with every pass; flip-flops are for sale at the desk.

Is the water good for you?

It is rich in calcium, magnesium and sulphur and has been used for tired joints since the Romans. Ask your doctor if you are unsure.

Can children come?

Yes, with an adult. The courtyard pool and the thermal hall are best for them; the saunas are for 14 and over.

Is there food?

The café serves soup, salads, cakes and lemonade all day, in your robe.
